英國劍橋大學 (The University of Cambridge) 早前宣佈，將在2020-21學年以網上課堂取代大型面授講課，同時期望在安全的社交距離下，維持現時小組教學、導修和實驗的安排。網上授課的英國大學還包括牛津大學 (The University of Oxford)、倫敦國王學院 (King's College London)、倫敦大學學院 (University College London) 等。
